The INDEPENDENCE EXPLOSION FESTIVAL (IEF) is a week-long celebration honouring Ghana’s liberation from colonial rule and its journey toward self-governance. Set to take place at the iconic Black Star Square in Accra, the 2026 edition of the festival will run from March 2nd to March 8th, attracting thousands of attendees from Ghana, the Diaspora, and around the world.
